Biography

My current work is studying the atmospheric science field campaigns that took place in Taiwan, and my advisor is Professor Alana Boland. I hope to see how resources and personnels are mobilized, scientists' relationship with weather, and the process of knowledge production in such campaign. Topics that I worked on in the past include China's volumetric sovereignty, the impact of Taiwan's farmland factories, and non-human agency in a 'cat village'. Other research topics that I am interested in include Feng Shui in modern Taiwanese homes and undocumented migrant workers in Taiwan's mountainous areas.

I was a part-time teacher that helped high school students prepare for International Geography Olympiad in my undergraduate years. Outside of research, my interest include watching tennis matches and following pop culture.
