Biography

Hi! I'm currently a Master of Planning student with a BA in Architectural Studies. Professionally, I'm an interdisciplinary designer, and formerly a non-profit educational, public space, and arts program administrator. My work prioritizes a multidisciplinary, empathy-driven approach. This has led to my involvement in a diversity of projects such as public art, heritage interpretation masterplans, and youth-focused education programs.

My research interests are in urban design, built heritage, suburban place-keeping, and cultural planning. Broadly, my work is concerned with Toronto's racialized urban peripheries, an acknowledgement of the cultures and communities that have emerged there in spite of hostile sprawling urban form, and how these spaces can be redesigned with dignity and care.
