Between November 4th and 11th, Yvonne Kenny, along with her dragon boat team, True North Leviathan, made waves at the 11th Gay Games co-hosted in Guadalajara and Hong Kong.

In the grand finals, the True North Leviathan secured a silver medal and won the prestigious Marriott Bonvoy International Cup, earning them a well-deserved gold. The dedication and teamwork demonstrated by True North Leviathan were further celebrated when the team had the honour of attending a reception at the official residence of the Consulate General of Canada for Hong Kong and Macao.

True North Leviathan's success extends beyond the Gay Games, with victories in various dragon boat regattas. The team secured first place in events such as the Montreal International DB Festival, GWN Challenge, Guelph Dragon Boat Festival, Toronto International DB Festival, and the Milton Dragon Boat Festival.
