Biography : 

Anika holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Public Policy from UTSC. Her academic journey sparked a deep interest in just urban transitions, equitable development, and transit-oriented communities. During her time at UofT, Anika gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant, contributing to a study on Above Guideline Rent Increases and Evictions, and served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate courses in planning. Building on her experience at the Ministry of Transportation, Anika is keen to explore multi-level governance approaches to regional transportation planning and examine how equity is integrated into these frameworks.
