Areas of Interest

Immigration and health including access to health care; rural migration and settlement and integration; lived experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic among immigrant and racially visible populations in Peel Region. 

Biography

My research focuses on the links among health, the social determinants of health, and place with a specific focus on recent immigrant populations. I employ mixed-methods and community-based research approaches to address research questions of relevance to local communities and organizations.
