Biography

I am a PhD student in Geography with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and a Master of Urban Design from the University of British Columbia. My research examines adolescent geographies and active transportation in urban environments. I draw on my design education and professional practice to inform research on urban design interventions that encourage the uptake of active transportation, foster community engagement, and promote positive long-term health outcomes.
