Biography :

As an aspiring Urban and Human geographer from Trinidad and Tobago (T&T), I have always enjoyed looking at the interconnectedness of my lived experiences, my research, and the urban spaces around me that I can relate too.

For my master’s, my current research focuses on gentrification within Little Jamaica and the area’s loss of ‘Jamaicaness’ or ‘Caribbeaness’ as a result of the ongoing LRT construction within Eglinton West area. My other research interests include Carnival in T&T, main-street revitalization, and Caribbean urban diasporic spaces & geographies. Aside from school, I am a Senior Residence Don at St. Mikes, a Manchester United supporter, and a run & gym enthusiast. Any questions, feel free to reach out to me; I am happy to help.
