Siobhan Teel
I'm interested in researching transportation policies through an intersectional lens to consider how gender, age, race, and sexual orientation among other identities impact planning practices, community engagement, and politics.
Before starting the Master of Science in Planning program at the University of Toronto, I studied Political Science at McMaster University. In Hamilton, I was active with the McMaster Students Union where I represented undergraduates at the city, provincial, and federal levels of government. Outside of my academic career, I've worked with three municipalities and the federal government in records and information management, GIS and spatial analysis, and economic development.
