Biography : 

Mobólúwajídìde is an M.A candidate whose work is concerned with how surveillance technologies shape Black people’s experiences of public space in Toronto, as well as praxis avenues for subverting these surveillance practices. He is interested in how this ties into a regime of regulation that transforms public space into a site of particularized danger for Black people. His work draws on abolitionist, and critical race scholarship.

In addition to being a graduate student, Bo publishes poetry and essays, and is a part of the Good Guise, a Toronto based community art and activism collective seeking to find radically loving alternatives to shame, disposability and punishment. He is also a Junior Fellow at Massey College.
