Biography
Irenius Konkor is a Ph.D. candidate in Health Geography at the University of Toronto Mississauga. His research interests include Transport and Health, HIV/AIDS among Minority Populations and Chronic Disease in sub-Saharan Africa. Irenius’ Ph.D. research focuses on the connections between chronic non-communicable disease and urban environments (neighborhoods) in Ghana, Africa. The one interesting thing about Irenius' research is how the research is tied to his identity as a visible minority and place of birth.
