Biography

Subaita is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Planning at the University of Toronto. Her concentration is in transportation planning and infrastructure. She has a deep-rooted interest in planning for accessible cities through effective transit planning, particularly for active transportation and multi-modal transit integration. Her long-term goal is to become an accredited Transportation Planner to shape the mobility decisions that impact our communities. As an Accredited LEED Green Associate, Subaita is also interested in a career related to environmental sustainability, and the intersection between environmental- and transportation planning.
 

Education

For her undegraduate degree, Subaita completed her Bachelors in Geography & Environmental Sciences at McMaster University, where she attained a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and a Concurrent Certificate in Urban Planning/ Studies.
